The Lili Waste Story

Company Founded

Company Founded by Matt Miles in Hull East Yorkshire after taking over the contracts from a failing trade waste operator.

Early Growth

The depot was a success and services were expanded to a depot in Leeds and operations further expanded into Sheffield.

Now Into Kent

As the company established services, opportunities to expand into Kent were capitalised and the depot  in Paddock Wood opened, which now serves mid and west Kent .

Growth into London

In South London, a company was falling into receivership, Lili waste  intervened and started servicing the customers. South London depot opened in Erith.

New Head Office

New Lili Waste head office opened in Tonbridge, Kent by the Mayor.

South Coast Expansion

With customers expanding, we were asked to undertake services in the Southampton area. This created the evolution of our South Coast operations.

Growth Into South Wales

A need for a private contractor in Cardiff was realised and The South Wales depot was opened  offering businesses of south Wales the services from an independent service provider.

Further Expansion In Kent

We negotiated with Serco in Canterbury who were closing their commercial waste operations in the area and blended it with the existing work, enabling expansion  into East Kent, which once again has proved a great success.

Expansion into Rainham

Investment of £1m in the establishment of a new depot in Rainham - Lili Waste’s eighth waste site (see news article).
