Lili Waste Services are thrilled to be supporting 2023’s Brighton Pride Festival with our bespoke event waste management service, having previously supported the event in 2022.
Brighton Pride is a vibrant celebration of both the LGBTQ+ community and the local area of Brighton and Hove. With more than 170 artists expected to appear during this two-day event, we share the local community’s anticipation of what is expected to be a fantastic local event. Brighton Pride is one of Lili Waste’s busiest events of the year, with 2023 marking 50 years since the first ever ‘Brighton Gay Pride march’ was held in 1973. We’re delighted to be working with the event organisers to support an event that highlights and showcases the best of the UK’s LGBTQ+ Community.
Lili Waste proudly supported Brighton Pride in 2022, which proved to be a spectacular success with more than 250,000 attendees. This year’s event is due to be held between the 4th and the 6th August 2023 and we hope that just as many people enjoy the experience. Our event waste management team worked closely with the organisers to ensure that the event had the correct number of bins and that these were aligned to the appropriate waste streams. At last year’s Brighton Pride our operatives worked tirelessly to ensure that the city was kept clean and tidy for local residents after the festival had ended. We want to ensure that this year’s Pride event is just as successful as the last.
Our involvement with Brighton Pride is one of many events in which we have provided our expertise in commercial waste management. In 2023 alone we have serviced many events including Tonbridge Calling Live and an episode of the Antiques Roadshow filmed in Cardiff. Our festival waste management service has been running for nearly five years now and our coverage of commercial events is helped by our seven depots spread across England and Wales.
